To reach the monastery, visitors embark on a short, serene walk uphill from the entrance gate at the main road, as vehicles beyond this point are restricted. A splendid example of Tibetan architecture, the Rumtek Monastery replicates the esteemed Tsurpu monastery in Tibet. Its vibrant exteriors, set against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery, create a truly enchanting experience.
